Let's PARTY!

The Leather District is BOOMING with business - Some brand new to the area and others that have been in the neighborhood for years!  Whether you're a small businesses or large corporation or a neighbor who calls the LD their home, there's always an opportunity to connect!  Our goal is to bring together the LD companies and residents for food, drinks and FUN!  Because we want the spotlight to be on everyone - we're asking for everyone to pitch in and make this party a huge hit!  From food to drinks to designs and photo coverage local companies are jumping on board!  We're also printing a Leather District T shirt for everyone at the event - listing all participating neighborhood companies!
 
Early participating neighbors include:
 
Antler Agency, Figaros, BFS Printing, Turnstone, IKON, High&Mighty, Arguedas Photography, and Field Work Media, TaskRabbit, Torch Communications ... with many more on deck.
 

After the party:

WorkBar will create the Leather District 'Little Black Book' for each participating company and those that came out to the party.  The coveted book will be your go-to next time you want to connect with any neighboring businesses both professionally and socially.  We'll also have a TON of event coverage including photos and video to pass around, and of course, a ROCKIN LEATHER DISTRICT T-Shirt with all of the participating businesses listed available for everyone!
 
How to get involved!?
 
In order to have your company listed on the LEATHER DISTRICT T-Shirt, you MUST register for the event by THURSDAY, SEPT 15th.  Plan on adding one of the following to the event:

• Bring some SWAG or Promos [i.e. gift cards/discounts etc.] for everyone [200 gift bags]
• Reserve a TABLE to show off your goods! Event booth style but FUN!
  
• Provide a GIVEAWAY prize to be raffled off.
  
• Submit a PowerPoint COMPANY BIO SLIDE to play on a loop during the event
• Submit a SONG TITLE or two that represents your company and a short company bio.  The party DJ booth will play the songs and give shout outs with the bios.
• Open to suggestions!
  

 
SPACE IS LIMITED! All that attend must be currently working or living in the Leather District.  After you register – Evona from WorkBar will be reaching out to give you more details about the event see how you’d like to get involved! Hope you’re as excited as we are!

Likeable Media - an award winning social media & word of mouth marketing firm, increases its clients transparency, responsiveness, likeability, and profits.  Likeable Media will be giving away 3 copies of CEO, Dave Kerpen's book, 'Likeable Social Media' throughout the evening of the block party.  Listen carefully for trivia questions throughout the night and tweet your answers to @LikeableBook.  3 Winners with correct answers will be chosen.

Essential will be giving away ultra portable Orbit-MP3 speakers, designed by the Essential team for Altec Lansing. The contest rules will be announced the day of the event
